Quaint and cozy. The cake was very good, and the warm dishes also tasted good to the others. Much importance is attached to compliance with the hygiene rules (luckily) !!

Delicious food in a rustic atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating. Very friendly service! A good place to stop for refreshments on the way around the Steinhuder Meer. Highly Recommended.

We almost drove past on our bikes and fortunately came back. Nice ambience. We drank the best latte we have ever had. The plum cake was also topped. We'll definitely be back.

Beautiful eatery. Although everything was reserved, they found space for us. Very! nice and friendly staff. The food was delicious. Since this was our day of arrival for our vacation, we were happy to have found such a restaurant after an 8 hour drive. Since the first impression is important for a region, you have managed to be “ambassadors” for this beautiful region. Thanks for that.

If you still have time after the walk, you should definitely stop by. Waiting time was also limited. The food was very tasty. The fried potatoes ... great. And to be honest, the Mardorferseite is the best for strolling and feasting.

Spontaneously drove by for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. Great rustic ambience. Super friendly and fast service and delicious food. We had a chicken soup beforehand, which was definitely homemade. I haven't eaten such a delicious soup in a long time. The main course was the pikeperch fillet and the currywurst with coleslaw and french fries. The fish was delicious. The coleslaw homemade and a poem! All in all great value for money. We would love to come back.

The food is always great, but the waitresses seem more and more overwhelmed. During the long wait for the table, not even a brief hint is given that one cares or has been seen at all. Disinfecting the tables becomes a life's work and an excuse not to occupy a new table too quickly. Order requests are rejected on the grounds that another colleague is responsible for the table. The drinks are just randomly popped on the table, as is the food, not without mentioning that the arms hurt from the three plates ... What a shame!

The "Alte Moorhütte" has completely fascinated me for the last 3 days. The food and drinks were very tasty, beautifully presented, both the quantity and the prices surprised me positively, the rustic, cozy atmosphere and the outstanding service crowned the great gastronomic experience ...... Always with pleasure and one for everyone nice experience....

Super delicious and sumptuous food and great ice cream sundaes. The meal took a little longer but is worth the wait. In contrast to other restaurants, prices are more than okay. My child has seldom eaten so much. Staff is attentive and lovable. My full respect to the two young women who have not lost their friendliness in the heat with masks and who had to endure many difficult guests. Some guests should reconsider their politeness. We say thank you and will be back in autumn 🙏

Nice restaurant, an outdoor terrace nicely located under the trees. The food is perfectly fine across the board and available at normal prices. Fast and attentive service!

We were there around noon we had a table reserved because it is always very busy and we wanted to sit outside in the nice weather, so the food is very good from the starter to the main course, very good offer, cooked with impeccable taste

Very clean restaurant. Friendly and brisk employees who are also open to joking. At the moment, of course, you have to wear a protective mask and wait until a table is assigned, but I don't expect it to be any different. An oak is in the middle of the restaurant. It's been built around it. Looks funny.

It is wonderful! The food is really great here and the service is very nice. We sat outside and had a nice view Due to the old hut, the toilets are a bit tight, but it works We are happy to recommend it 😊

Waiters: 3/5 stars - waiter was nice but was swearing a lot outside of buissnes talk keept complaining about Customers stupidity. Food: 5/5 stars - Good presentation good price good Taste i recommend the "Alte Moorhütte - Fish Plate" it cost 17.50 but can be shared with a second person and is amazingly well done even the side salat was good which is actually quite a rare feat nowdays. Enviroment 4/5 stars -Saddly nothing was done against small pest, we where eating outside and had couple of Problems with insects. I am sure an insect oil dispenser which is odorless would have done an amazing feet or a insect ultra sound device which works perfect in our garden.

I can recommend the only drawback on the ground are militant cyclists who take no consideration for pedestrians or severely disabled when walking on designated paths. The police unfortunately ignore this problem.

Home-style, rustic restaurant with lots of charm. Friendly staff and delicious food with large portions. Even when the restaurant was full everything went very quickly. Clear recommendation, since the value for money is great. In the evening you should book better before.
